# PowerDNS Recursor Input Plugin
|

The powerdns recursor plugin gathers metrics about PowerDNS Recursor using unix socket.
|
|
|
|
### Configuration:
|
|
|
|
```

# Read metrics from one or many PowerDNS recursors
|
|
[[inputs.powerdns_recursor]]

|
## An array of sockets to gather stats about.
|
|
## Specify a path to unix socket.
|
|
##
|
|
## If no servers are specified, then '/var/run/pdns_recursor.controlsocket' is used as the path.
|
|
